Very easy to use
I’ve used all the sizes. They are easier if you keep them on a baking sheet to rise and move into the oven. Worked perfectly.

Great product, but....
These are absolutely fabulous classic panettone wrappers. Unfortunately, Sur la table apparently does not understand how to ship them. Twice, the wrappers arrived crushed. The second batch I just kept because I needed them.
Also, they offer very limited sizes. The 2 1/2 is too small for even Mimi panettone, although the 3 1/2”, available previously, and now elsewhere if one wants to buy 2000, work. The optimal size, at least for my recipe, would be the 4 3/8”, inch will turn out three nice sized loaves per batch. Again, these appear to be unavailable here, or anywhere in lots less than commercial quantities. Whartever happened to Fantes!

Makes a lovely loaf
The only reason it's not a five is because there is no note about how much dough (ounces or grams) to put in this paper. I baked about 900, and it rose just about the top. I would've liked it higher - how much would it hold and still get done?

Awesome for Panettone
These paper molds give an authentic touch to any panettone. Great price too. My only gripe is that I wish they came with cellophane bags to wrap them as gifts. Or that Sur La Table offered bags to fit them in. Otherwise they worked great and I'm happy.

Panetonne and Pandoro Bakes Nicely.
When I would purchase baked Panetonne or Pandoro, this is the ""Baking Paper"" used every Time. I like that they are oven proof to 390 degrees. Recycable in Our Area too.I can use for Breads that do not ""fit"" a regular ""Pan"".I can use these and save money for a Special item I may not use enough to validate cost.Yet,with Sur La Table,Always Find Great Prices and Items We Need or have not been able to locate anywhere else

Were are these made? It would be very helpful if that information was included on all of your products. That is very important to me, especially where food related items are concerned.

What's the size of the panettone you can bake in the 5.25"" mold? 1 pound
A shopper on Nov 4, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Great gifts for the baker. No more cleaning metal baking pans, these paper baking molds are designed to be part of the presentation. Rigid, freestanding food-safe construction is available in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit all your baking needs. Fine for the freezer and microwave, and oven safe up to 390°F. You can make a panettone approximately 1 pound in the 5.25" mold.
Would these be suitable for individual pot pies?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. These are a little too deep for pot pies.
How tall is the 7" mold?
lidia S on Aug 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This mold is 4" tall.
Exact size

Could you please tell me the exact size of the 2.75"" mold? Diameter/height.Thank you
A shopper on Nov 10, 2011
BEST ANSWER: This mold is 2" deep with a 3" diameter
Just want to make sure - you can bake directly in these liners - no pan needed. Is that correct?
A shopper on Jun 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi--
Short answer: yes, no problem.

Longer answer: I've used these to bake panettone for gifts for the past two holidays and, yes, you can put them on a cookie sheet and place the bread dough directly into them for the final rise and bake. There are perforations in the paper that allow steam to escape, so the loaves rise beautifully and bake evenly. I make sure that there's at least 1 1/2 " between molds to allow for even air circulation, and you might need to watch the baking bread a little more closely than usual to make sure it's not getting too brown (I shaved 5 minutes or so from the recommended bake time).

THESE ARE REALLY GREAT PRODUCTS: just wrap the cooled loaf in food-safe cellophane with a rafia tie for an easy festive presentation.

Good luck.
Kim
MAKING A YEAST BREAD. WOULD THESE PAPER PANS BE STRONG ENOUGH TO RAISE DOUGH IN AND THEN BAKE?
A shopper on Apr 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have never tried to raise and bake bread in the panettone paper pans but I don't see why it would not work. Hope it turns out well. I will have to give it a try. My only concern is that the bread will not slide out of the paper pans as will bread from a greased metal bread pan, but if you don't mind this it should work.
the recipe for Panettone that I used recommended to place a second baking sheet under the panettones and bake in a 350 degree oven. Why???
A shopper on Dec 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These should be placed on a pan for baking for two reasons. 1) it’s easier to pick them up, once panettone is proofed it can be fragile and you don’t want to degass the dough by moving it too roughly. 2) if you put too much dough in the mold it could spill over the top of the mold and drip in your oven. The pan will save you from a mess. 350? Idk follow the recipe I guess!
I am baking Ukrainian Easter bread in the molds, do you have the spray the molds before adding the batter? Once baked, do you simply cool on a cooling rack?
Mary P on Apr 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: When I used them to make Panettone, I sprayed them. I think whenever in doubt, spray them. Yes, you could cool them on a cooling rack but be aware that the imprint from the cooling rack may imprint the bread.
I need a 6” by 4 1/2 inch. Should I get the 5.25” or the 7” instead?
mackenzie o on Dec 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 7" takes a LOT of dough and it didn't crown that much above the paper. if 6" is the height measurement, 4-1/2 is a big difference in circumference. I used the shallow papers as well, about 5 or 6" across and got good results.
What is the exact dimensions for 7" mold, what is the hight?
A shopper on Feb 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They are 4 1/2 inches tall. The 7 inches is the diameter.
How many papers come in an order and what are the measurements?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sold individually I believe, and come in several sizes, which you specify when ordering. I get the 5.25 inch diameter, which holds about 1 pound of dough.
