Description

Save time in the kitchen with the versatile Duo pressure cookers—Zavor’s highest-rated pressure cookers. Pressure cooking reduces cooking time by up to 70%, and requires little to no oil while retaining food’s natural vitamins and minerals for healthier meals.

Duo pressure cookers are easy to use and come with detailed instructions, quick guides and recipes. High and Low pressure settings cook everything from meats and rice to delicate foods like fish and vegetables. A Release setting removes pressure, and a Clean setting removes valve for simple cleanup. A visual pressure indicator rises to keep you informed of pressurizing process, and three independent pressure-release mechanisms ensure safe use.

Pressure cooker pots are dishwasher safe, have max-fill lines on interior and are made of durable 18/10 stainless steel, with a thin aluminum plate between layers on the base for quick and even heat distribution. The pressure cooker lid is also made of 18/10 stainless steel and come equipped with safety vent, silicone rubber gasket and feature locking indicators that allow for easy closing and opening. The interchangeable tempered glass lid allows you to use pots the traditional way, without pressurizing. Upper, lower and helper handles are ergonomically designed for easy opening, closing and transport even with oven mitts.

Features Hide

  • Equipped with three independent pressure-release mechanisms. If the unit is left unattended, the main valve will begin to release excess pressure. Next, the safety valve will assist in releasing pressure and, finally, the gasket will protrude from the notch located on the side of the lid. Moreover, pressure will never build up if the automatic safety lock has not been properly closed. Once the pressure indicator has popped up, it will automatically block this safety lock, not allowing you to unlock and open the lid until all the pressure has been released.
  • Spring-type valve with two pressure settings: Low (8psi) and High (15psi), a “Release ” position to release internal pressure, and a “Clean” position to remove the valve for cleaning after each us
  • The pressure indicator will rise when there is pressure inside the cooker. As the pressure cooker heats and pressure builds, the pressure indicator will rise automatically. If the indicator is not raised, there is insufficient/no pressure inside the cooker.
  • Pressure cooker lid will only lock once it has been properly placed on the pressure cooker pot
  • The 18/10 stainless steel pressure cooker lid comes equipped with a safety vent, silicone rubber gasket and features locking indicators that allow for easy closing and opening of the lid
  • Ergonomically designed upper and lower handles for easier opening and closing that also provide greater stability when moving or carrying the pressure cooker
  • Helper handle is crucial for added support in transferring your pressure cooker to your stove, counter or kitchen table
  • Pot made of 18/10 stainless steel on the interior and the base, with max fill lines on interior
  • Thermo Heat Conductive base for quick and even heat distribution

I use my 10 quart Duo for cooking stews, soups, chicken stock, beets, and beans - saves a lot of fuel and holds in all the goodness doing it. Needed a smaller version for hearty grains in smaller portions.

I had a Fagor and the pressure seal broke and couldn't find a replacement and I wanted a 10 quart. This also comes with a trivet and steamer basket, which for all three is a great price.
