Description

EXCLUSIVE Why is glass the best for baking? The answer is clear—you can see the exterior of your brownies, cakes and casseroles as they bake. Glass is also easy to clean and food slides right out of it. This designed-in-Paris glass dish is made from borosilicate tempered glass, which is an extremely resilient glass that resists shattering, thermal shock (it can go directly from freezer to oven) and scratches (you can cut directly into the glass without damaging it). It’s also a healthy and hygienic material, so there’s no worry of unwanted chemicals affecting your delicious food. Convenient side handles make it easy to remove from the oven with oven mitts or pot holders.

I don't understand why pyrex discontinued their 9x9" baking dish - so many recipes call for a 9x9" pan, and many dishes look best in a clear pan, especially if they have pretty layers. This is the closest I could find to the old 9x9" clear baking dish.

Hard to find this type of glass in cookware any more & the sized is just what I needed. I hope to see more of this glassware as it's so much safer than many of the glass cookware brands offered anymore.
